This Simple But Accurate Method Will Get You Your True Band Size at Home!

Is your bra uncomfortable? Perhaps it’s too tight or too lose? If so, it’s because it does not fit properly. To find a fitting bra, you need to know how to measure your cup size. In this article, you’ll learn how to measure the bust size correctly. It’s really easy!

If you want to know your true breast cup size, you need two measurements: the underbust and bust measurement.

Why You Should Know Your Bust Size

Knowing your bust size is important, especially when you are looking for a bra. The bust size will help you know the right bra cup size for you.

A slight change in your bust measurement can mean the difference between a properly-fitting and an ill-fitting bra.

NOTE: Bra sizes can be very close. Therefore, do not be surprised if you can fit in more than one bra size.

To determine your cup size, you will need to measure your bust. The bust measurement, together with the band size, will determine your true bra size.

How to Measure the Bust Size Correctly

Follow the steps below to correctly measure your bust size:

#1.  Measure the fullest part of your breasts

For this exercises, you will need a tape measure.

Make sure that the tape is not too tight. Also, ensure you are wearing a non-padded bra when measuring. Measure the fullest part a couple of times and average the measurement.

Can You Measure Your Bra Size Correctly at Home?

Measuring your bra size is easy and can be done at home. You may need someone to help you hold the tape measure to measure the underbust and bust.

If you are not confident of measuring yourself, you can also get measured at a lingerie store.

However, it is still important to know how to measure yourself because the breast size may change from time to time. For example, when you are pregnant or after pregnancy, the breast size is sure to change.

Therefore, it makes sense to always measure your breasts before buying a new bra.
