Generally, I have big melons and high impact activities such as dancing make me uncomfortable. I mean, the melons hurt my chest so much, especially when I’m running.

I have owned various plus size sports bras over the years. The bras I’ve been using (I’m not going to mention any names) did not seem to hold on well. Moreover, they were not particularly cute, which is a big issue for me when I go to the gym.

When I was given the Enlite sports bra, I was afraid it was going to be just another sports bra. But as it turned out, the bras was nothing like I expected.

This is my review of the sports bra for plus size women.

Before we get started with this review, I wanted to let you know of the features of the Enlite Lulemon bra. The most notable ones worth talking about are:

• It is quite expensive (over $90 depending on where you buy it)
• It has seamless and structured molded cups with bonded seams
• Made from ‘Ultralu’ fabric, which is smooth
• You can wash the bra in a machine with your workout clothes

Let’s get started with the review.

How Does the Bra Look?

The Enlite Lululemon bra is made from Ultralu, which is a lightweight, breathable fabric that has great sweat-absorbing properly. This bra has no underwire, its cups are encapsulated and fits snugly on the back and shoulders thanks to its four luxuriously thick cross-over straps.

On the front, the bra comes quite high. While I wouldn’t define the bra as ‘sexy’, it is comfortable. Period.

How Does the Lululemon Bra Fit?

The Lululemon Enlite bra I tested was a slightly different size than I normally wear. The bra fit me like a glove. I’m a 38D but with the Enlite, I wore a snug 38DD.

The bra has extra straps on the back that hold the breasts in place really well. If you are big-chested like me, you will appreciate this.

I love how the bra fits. However, I found the sizing to be a little off from the traditional bra sizes I’m used to. Therefore, check the sizing before you buy. Here is the sizing chart for your reference:

How Does the Bra Feel?

The Enlite Lululemon bra feels fantastic. It is comfortable and nothing cuts or digs anywhere. When working out, the last thing you want to deal with is a bra cutting to you. You won’t have to worry about this with the Lululemon bra.

The Enlite bra is also supportive but not restrictive. It is comfortable, wirefree and the fabric feels so smooth.

What About Aesthetics?

Majority of sports bras are not that cute. Going with the sports bras I’ve owned in the past, it seems the less cute a bra is, the more support it offers.

Since I have large breasts, I need a lot of support to keep them in place when working out. This means I have to get the big bras that strap in the sisters.

However, the Enlite bra is actually cute. I wouldn’t mind wearing it without a T-shirt when I’m running or in the gym. The colorways available are sophisticated and fuse style and functionality. This is one of the cute sports bras that I can definitely show off.

How Does the Enlite Bra Perform?

When testing this bra, I did a lot of workouts in it, including yoga and CrossFit. During the workouts, I did not have to stop to adjust the breasts or slow down to prevent them from bouncing.

My major issue with most sports bras is that they don’t hold large breasts in place, which can be painful and annoying. However, the Enlite sports bra actually keeps the breasts in place. The bra is comfortable and not too tight.

Enlite Lulemon Bra Review: The Verdict

I can confidently say that the Enlite Lululemon is the best sports bra for large breasts that I have ever tried. The bra does not flatten the melons and gives a really beautiful shape. Moreover, it makes you confident while working out, which is important in boosting your self-esteem.
